I am a 30something SAH Christian, preschool teaching. bargain hunting mom . I have ADHD and my family is not "typical". I am politically interested (left leaning despite my family's best intentions!) and a born/bred Carolinian. By all accounts, I have no business blogging but here I go ... and who knows maybe it will help me make "cents" out of life.
Blog Amy Blog!
When the choice is to count your blessings or break from stress... I choose to reflect on how blessed I am. How much I have to be grateful about! I am Blessed to have a loving and FORGIVING God! I am Blessed to be a happily married stay at home mother to three great children! Blessed to live in a beautiful home in a great town. Blessed to be able to provide health care and healthy food for my family. Blessed to have a loving extended family and a great network of close friends... yes my blessings are many but often times I fall victim to life's stress and forget just how blessed I am. Hopefully blogging will help remind me of all of the things that I have to be grateful for! Drop me a line about what YOU are thankful for...

ADHD
Without ADD, the shortest distance between two points is always a straight line. With ADD, the distance may be longer, but the trip is far more interesting!
Are you High and Mighty?
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. - Romans 12:3-5
Peace, Peace!
For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain;and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. They have treated the wound of my people carelessly, saying, "Peace, peace,"when there is no peace. - Jeremiah 6:13-14
Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality of those who seek to change a world which yields most painfully to change. - R.F.K.
