What is on your children's reading list?

Schools Out! Summer has arrived :-) We have really been enjoying ourselves despite the heat. Yesterday the kids decided in addition to our reading lists we will also have a weekly themed dinner- they want to start with Roll Your Own Sushi! (yes I know they are pretty cool kids -heehee). I need to get working on that idea but first I wanted to share our tentative booklist. I say tentative as naturally we will be using the local library not the book store. Have any of you read any of these? Comments? Do any of you have book sugggestions (my cool kidlets are 8,8 and soon to be 3).
